If you and your partner disagreed about some of the placements, sit together to a few minutes and discuss it.
Once you are happy with the names and placements of classes in Medieval Europe and shogunate Japan, let a teacher know so they can check your work!
Now it's time for research!!! (Using the sites from 'Create a Timeline')

Pick one 'class position' from either the Medieval Europe or shogunate Japan pyramid.
Write your chosen class position at the top of your Padlet page.
As a Padlet pair, add text bubbles and images to your padlet page about:
average life span,
dress,
expected behaviour,
traditions,
rituals,
and anything else that interests you.

For example:
If I was writing about a Hebrew slave in Egypt, I could do something like this...

If you have finished early, this is a chance to get a head-start on the next few lessons...

We are going to be comparing people from similar Japanese and European classes.

For example, whoever is on the lowest level of your European pyramid can be compared to the class represented on the lowest level of your Japanese pyramid. Second from the bottom in Europe compared with second from the bottom in Japan and so on...

For the rest of today's lesson, go back to the websites outlined in our 'Create a Timeline' lesson.
Firstly, choose which level of the pyramids you will use to compare.
Use 'Timeline' websites to find information about what those two people would have looked like and how they would have dressed.
Use Paint.net to draft an image of these characters.
To help you create images of these characters you may want to adapt images from Bitannica Image Quest.
That's fine, but try to create something original (Make It Your Own) and remember to REFERENCE!!!

Well done team!!!!
